Knife on the BoardSound Technician/ Editor
The new Circus documentary following Couple Duo-Foray in their famous knife throwing act. Exploring the idea that circus is a dying means of entertainment, while the performers are still hard working and passionate for their art, even when they could be at risk. My Role as Sound Technician/ editor... I was attracted to being a part of this production, as I have always from a young age been interested and immersed in live performance. During this project I have worked using a Zoom recorder , boom mic+pole and wireless lapelled mics to records sound in our documentary. The main objective in the sound recording for this documentary is to capture the main essence of the circus. It is important the audience understands the sounds of the circus, to be able to understand the message of; the circus being traditional / outdated but still an entertaining means of live performance. |

Mistaken Identity Script / Producer / Editor
Mistaken Identity is a British crime film about a group of teens, who try to take, the murder of an abusive boyfriend into their own hands, only to find out it not all that is seems... My Role as Scriptwriter + Producer... I was inspired by an old new report and interested in the psychology of murder as a crime. The style and colouring is influence by mid-nourties British crime genres productions such as Harry Brown and Skins. When casting the characters based on my script I went for a style of realism and asked actors to audition with a improv after reading their character profiles. I n the edit I also accomplished the sound design adding in invisible diegetic sounds. |
Ryker DOP/ Location Scout / Light Stylist
Ryker was a project set to my crew from MindUK to explore fiction writing and mental health. The script followed a detective suffering from Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Unable to different his dreams from reality. My Role as DOP + Location manger... While studying the mental state of dreams and sleeplessness I decided on going for a Neon-noir styled colour palette and set. After finding a rustic location I had to contact the owner book times dates and be on the location as a manger. As the DOP I composed shots to include the locations LED wired coloured lights to continue the theme of dreamy colour state. |
